Aariq, that's a nice variety of grubs you collected! Did you have any problems with the grubs overrunning the worm bin?
Jerry, I can't tell the difference between the 'digger' of a dark, mature pre-pupa and the mouth of a juvenile grub. Since the dark grubs are still moving as they seek a place to pupate, how can you tell if it's time to put them in the 'retirement home'? Do you basically send them back into the active feeding zone again and wait for them to climb the self-harvesting ramp again?
I think it's already been confirmed, but I'll add a confirmed sighting for Berkeley, CA (SF Bay area). I posted photos in the cold weather thread.
